Daniel O’Connor Architects is a full service architecture and interior design firm. The company has over fifteen years of experience dedicated to the realization of high-end interiors and commercial spaces. The studio is reputed for its integrity and quality of work, while delivering projects on-time and within budget.
Daniel O’Connor Architects is based in New York City with satellite collaborators in Europe. The studio brings together the experience of designing and building commercial and residential projects in both the United States and Europe, and comprises of professionally licensed multilingual staff, supported by an external group of consultants, engineers, computer design professionals, and real estate experts.
Daniel O’Connor was raised in Italy. He received rigorous training at the Milano Polytechnic School of Architecture, studying under Achille Castiglioni and working with Aldo Rossi, Paolo Deganello, and Santiago Calatrava. He has also worked for the Architectural Triennial in Milan.
Upon graduation in Milan, he was awarded a scholarship to study and teach at Syracuse University, New York where he obtained his Masters degree. In 1992, he established his own architecture studio in New York. He has completed nearly two hundred projects in the United States, Canada, Italy, and South East Asia, ranging from residential lofts, townhouses, restaurants and commercial spaces to high-end retail stores. Daniel O’Connor is a current member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
